Who is responsible for your data?

Values Compass is operated by Rotem Hess in Austria. For privacy questions or requests, email admin@valuescompass.app.

What information is stored?

• Your email address and secure sign-in/session records.
• An unfinished exercise draft when a signed-in user chooses to save and continue later.
• Your latest Values Profile, including ranked values, alignment ratings, optional VIA strengths and bridges, reflections, practices, and check-ins.
• Purchase and entitlement identifiers supplied by Apple, or a complimentary access record. Values Compass never receives or stores your payment-card details.

Your engaged-moment stories

During the free exercise, these stories remain in a short-lived session on your device. After you sign in, they can be stored only inside an unfinished exercise so you can resume. They are deleted when you finish the exercise and create your profile, when you start over, or when you delete your account. They do not appear in your profile.

Why the information is used

It is used to sign you in, save and display your exercise and profile, verify lifetime access, restore purchases, provide support, and protect the service from misuse. Values Compass does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or include cross-app tracking.

Reminders

Practice and reflection reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Their settings are stored on that device. Signing out pauses them; signing back in resumes them. Deleting your account cancels and removes its reminders from the device. The app’s Settings screen also lets you turn off every Values Compass reminder scheduled on that device, regardless of which account created it.

Services that help operate Values Compass

• Hostinger hosts the application and database.
• Resend delivers email sign-in codes and access messages.
• Apple processes App Store purchases and provides purchase verification data.

Each provider handles information under its own security and privacy obligations.

Retention and deletion

Your saved exercise and profile remain available while your account exists. Temporary login codes expire quickly. You can permanently delete your account from Settings & Help in the mobile app. This removes your email, sessions, exercise drafts, profile, reflections, practices, check-ins, and complimentary access.

A minimal, pseudonymous store-transaction record may be retained where required for purchase restoration, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations. It is kept separately from your reflections and profile. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund an App Store purchase.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, restriction, portability, or deletion of your personal information by contacting admin@valuescompass.app. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also contact your local data-protection authority.
